I want one now, but I wonder why not mass produce it.

And prices will go up or down a lot… I can’t remember enough economics to say which, but I think they’re going down.
Relative to gas, certainly.

Actually, most figures that you see or hear that say it cuts dirastically down on polution. Usually includes the polution to make the electricity.

Most electricity in the US is generated by coal and nuclear power plants. I believe coal is approx 55% and nuclear is approx 25%. Hydro is another large player but I think wind is only like 5-10%.

Of course, the fact that the majority of electric is produced by oil and gas power plants wouldn’t be an issue then?

There are a lot of electric cars out there that look and perform much more desirable than this one, but its still a good establishment

why are electric vehicles so expensive?
If the car companies want the people to buy their cars they need to make at least a 5seater all electric car and drop the price tag and they should have at least a range of 100 miles or 300 miles per charge.
For example the Tesla motors car is hellofa expensive, and it only has like 2 seats, but I heard that car can drive fast.

Since we’re talking an electric car, i want a car with all the electronic bells and whistles, the true car of the future.
Over the past several months of looking into “alternative” fuel cars, i’ve seen about 20 different electric car designers around the world. China seems to be ahead of everyone, in so far as mass producing and putting a car ON THE STREET. So far. Nothing elegant, mind you, but they have a true electric car on the road already.
In the end “made in china” isn’t so bad

Even if global warming isn’t caused by co2 and methane, I’m sick of going outside and being assaulted by all the pollutants in the air that come from burning fossil fuels. This would also help decrease our dependence on foreign oil, which, in my opinion, puts us in entangling foreign alliances. Electric cars are the furture, and if you don’t get with it, you and your gas guzzlers are gonna be left in the dust.

I saw that car at the Green Exo

IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF THEY CAN MAKE IT like the car on irobot. LOL but i know it might be impossible.
Anyways for this car,I think they shouldve made it still 4 wheeled running on electricty, keeping the steering wheel, since it seems pretty hard to precisely go on a turn u want.

The EVette body is a replica 1988 Lambo Countach kit that was modified to fit the chassis. Ideally, we vision making the front narrower and shorter to better fit the
3 wheeled design. We need a talented fiberglass mechanic to do that, and more money.

I just laughed…and cried on the inside…when the lady said gas could top $3 a gallon in the beginning… I’m in the east bay area in California and we’re at $4.77 and 9/10s for 91 octane.
