The founder of a Canadian-made, 100 per cent electric car says the federal government is blocking him from selling his cars in Canada.
The ZENN (zero emissions, no noise) electric car is already being sold in the United States, Mexico, and Europe, where it has won awards.

Wait until those loving governments of ours try making us pay a carbon tax. And like lemmings so many will gladly give up their fortunes for a warm fuzzy green glow inside.
Wake up, the same ones that are keeping enviromentaly clean technologies from the public are going to try to punish us for using fossil fuels that we really,really don’t want to use anymore.

Governments just don’t want to see their thieving tax take from the consumption of fossil fools eroded because of battery electric cars. You’d hardly call it a democracy would you

how is that, we charge our vehicles in electrical outlets and our electrical bill is taxed by the federal and provincial governments no? so when we charge our cars and use more electricity they get their money like that.

for every reason you give me that electric cars wont work, I will give you many that it will. the it wont work crap is pure and simple propaganda. If you become UNCOMPLACANT!! and do a little research, you too will agree its time for all electric cars and motor cycles. only problem left then is, how much do we pay to the Arabs per gallon of sand we mix in our concrete?

Bikes are allowed on the road. Are you suggesting that a bicycle is safer then then the ZENN or any electric car? And you don’t even need a license to drive a bike. As long as bikes are allowed to use public roads there is no reason why ecars shouldn’t be given the same consideration. Just don’t allow them on 400 series highways (Ontario), just like bicycles.

CBCs poor journalism implies federal incompetence, but these ‘cars’ simply don’t endure crashes well. Search youtube for “G-Wiz Crash Test’, which shows a similarly built electric car from England. Just unsafe garbage.

want to make a trillion, gazillion dollars, or even pounds. create a good gas to electric conversion kit, that easily removes gas components an replaces with pure electric. If you can avoid being killed by mercenaries by the existing industrial giants, you should make, about that much.
